The Every Day Project is a Desperate Artwives collaborative project devised by Amy Dignam and Chloe Bowles in 2013. It was a way of 'corresponding' with each other as artists and busy mothers. The original ideas was to send each other a photo taken with a phone camera on alternate days for one month as a way of exchanging a 'snapshot' of daily life.
Sam and Dawn are collaborating here in the same spirit, as part of a larger group of Artist Mothers. Similarly, we hope to explore the commonalities and differences in our everyday lives through the dialogue of one simple image posted daily for one month.
We hope that this blog can become a way to support and encourage each other as artists, without being constrained by the needs of family, work, study, etc.
